Freeride Flims - sheer driving pleasure
Flims has become a veritable paradise for freeriders. Sustainable and with a lot of skill, the single trail network is being expanded continuously. From late May to late October, the mountain railways in Flims Laax bring the bikers to the start of the dream paths.
The Trail of Runca Naraus to Flims (7.4 km) is moderate and offers plenty of variety for experienced riders, but also for beginners. Action, savor the new freeride range of Crap Sogn Gion (2228m) to Laax (1020m). The 7 km route is technically demanding and offers steep curve after steep curve, an absolute flow experience.
Adrenaline junkies will enjoy the Afterwork Trail (450 m, difficult). With Slope Style elements such as wall rides and gaps, riddled with roots and logs - demands this North Shore Trail high concentration of the skilled riders . The varied tours through the Flims forest are particularly suitable for families. Additionally recommended are the tours around Foppa, which can be easily reached by cable car. They are ideal for families and broaden their experience radius.
Even world champion Nino Schurter appreciates the versatility of the destination and Flims has made it to his training ground number 1. One of his favorite tracks includes the Ruinaultatour that leads to a distance of 85 km and 3670 meters around the imposing Rhine gorge. Enduro fans get their highs on the tracks around Crap Masegn, Crap Sogn Gion and Grauberg.
